本周我们学习和水域相关的词汇

1. cruise /kru:z/

n.乘船游览;航游

搭配：take/ go on a cruise

e.g. We thought about taking a ten-day cruise in the Caribbean.

e.g. We all enjoyed the river cruise on the Rhine.

2. promenade/ˌprɒmə"nɑ:d/

n.公共散步区；（尤指）滨海/河步行大道

搭配：riverside/lakeside/seaside promenade滨河/湖/海步道

e.g. Tourists enjoy walking along the seaside promenade at sunset.

e.g.One of my favourite things to do is stroll along the riverside promenade after dinner because it helps me clear my mind.

e.g.The city has a tree-lined promenade that attracts both locals and tourists.

搭配：stroll along 沿着...步行

3. crystal-clear /ˌprɑːməˈneɪd/

adj.清澈见底的；清澈透明的

e.g. The lake is famous for its crystal-clear water.

e.g. One thing that impressed me most was the crystal-clear water, which reflected the surrounding mountains like a mirror.

补充：reflect v. 反射，照出

类似表达：mirror-like 平静如镜的

e.g. The lake had a mirror-like surface, reflecting the mountains and clouds in the distance.

4. picture-perfect /ˌpɪktʃə(r) ˈpɜ:fɪkt/

adj.美得像画一样的

搭配：picture-perfect scenery/ landscape/ destination 如画般的景色/地点

a picture-perfect moment 美好的瞬间

e.g.The lake offers picture-perfect scenery, especially at sunrise.

e.g. The village is a picture-perfect destination surrounded by mountains and forest.

类似表达：postcard-perfect 风景如画的

e.g. The lake is surrounded by mountains and forests, creating a postcard-perfect view that attracts thousands of visitors.

5. riverbank/"rɪvəbæŋk/

n. 河岸;河堤

搭配：stroll along the riverbank 沿着河岸步行

e.g.I often stroll along the riverbank after dinner because it helps me relax.

e.g. Willow trees line the riverbank, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

搭配：tree-lined riverbank 两旁种满树木的河岸

e.g.The city has transformed the once-neglected riverbank into a beautiful riverside promenade with walking paths, cafes and green spaces.
